Day 1: Arusha – Tarangire National Park

Our safari starts from Arusha and drive to Tarangire National Park for a wildlife game drive. Explore its beautiful savannah, ancient baobab trees, and seasonal swamps while searching for elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffaloes, and lions. Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park before continuing your afternoon game drive. Later, leave the park and transfer to your campsite or budget lodge in the Karatu area for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater – Karatu
Ngorongoro Crater
After an early breakfast, travel to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive. Search for the Big Five, including lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards, and black rhinos, alongside zebras, wildebeest, and hippos. Enjoy a picnic lunch at a designated site before continuing your wildlife exploration. In the afternoon, ascend the crater and return to Karatu for dinner and overnight.

Lake Manyara National Park

Look for elephants, giraffes, baboons, monkeys, hippos, and diverse birdlife. The park is also known for its tree climbing lions, although sightings are not guaranteed. Enjoy a picnic lunch before exiting the park and returning to Arusha in the afternoon or early evening.

Top-tier experience for a very good price
Samson was very accommodating when planning our safari. We were not entirely sure what we wanted to do and he worked with us to plan the perfect safari. He gave us a couple of different quotes and explained the difference between them well. He was also able to book us a hot-air balloon ride (which I highly recommend) and accommodations before and after the safari.
