3-Day Zanzibar Fly-In & out Tanzania Safari – Mid range

Zanzibar – Tarangire National Park Your journey begins with a morning flight from Zanzibar to Arusha, where you will be warmly welcomed by your professional safari driver/guide. After a brief introduction, you will set off on a picturesque 2–3 hour drive to Tarangire National Park, famous for its vast baobab-studded landscapes and the largest elephant herds in northern Tanzania. Upon arrival, enjoy a picnic lunch within the park and then embark on an exciting afternoon game drive. Explore Tarangire’s diverse ecosystems, where you may encounter elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, and an array of bird species. As the sun begins to dip, exit the park and head to your midrange lodge or tented camp for the evening. Here, you’ll enjoy a warm dinner and a peaceful night in the bush.

Ngorongoro Crater After an early breakfast, you’ll travel toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, home to one of Africa’s most remarkable natural wonders. Descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the best places in Africa to see the Big Five—lion, leopard, buffalo, elephant, and the endangered black rhino—all within the same day. Enjoy a scenic picnic lunch inside the crater, surrounded by dramatic landscapes and dense wildlife populations. Continue your game viewing throughout the afternoon, exploring lakes, forests, and open plains teeming with animals. In the late afternoon, ascend the crater rim and make your way to your lodge or tented camp for a delightful dinner and overnight stay.

Lake Manyara National Park – Zanzibar Enjoy a relaxed breakfast before heading to Lake Manyara National Park, a small but diverse gem nestled at the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment. Known for its tree-climbing lions, flamingos, and scenic views, Manyara offers a rich mosaic of habitats including forests, floodplains, and the soda lake itself. Set out on a morning game drive through the park, where you might encounter hippos, buffaloes, warthogs, monkeys, and a colorful variety of birds. After a lovely picnic lunch inside the park, you’ll exit and drive back to Arusha Airport for your return flight to Zanzibar. You’ll arrive in Zanzibar in the evening, where a transfer will take you back to your hotel or beach resort, marking the end of your short but incredible Tanzanian safari.
