Family itinerary day by day
Day 1 – Arusha to Tarangire National Park
Tarangire National Park
Depart Arusha and join your group for a scenic drive to Tarangire National Park. Enjoy a full-day game drive in search of large elephant herds, lions, giraffes, zebras, and other wildlife among the iconic baobab trees. After your safari, transfer to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 2 – Ngorongoro Crater
Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast, travel to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into the spectacular crater for an unforgettable game drive. Explore its grasslands, forests, and lakes while looking for lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, and the endangered black rhino. Enjoy a picnic lunch on the crater floor before heading to your accommodation for dinner and overnight.
Day 3 – Lake Manyara National Park to Arusha
Lake Manyara
After breakfast, head to Lake Manyara National Park for a game drive through its groundwater forest, open plains, and lakeshore habitats. Look out for elephants, baboons, hippos, colorful birdlife, and, if fortunate, the park’s famous tree-climbing lions. After your picnic lunch and final wildlife sightings, return to Arusha, bringing your three-day safari adventure to an end.

Top-tier experience for a very good price
Samson was very accommodating when planning our safari. We were not entirely sure what we wanted to do and he worked with us to plan the perfect safari. He gave us a couple of different quotes and explained the difference between them well. He was also able to book us a hot-air balloon ride (which I highly recommend) and accommodations before and after the safari.
